 Michelle Dokka has been involved with music since childhood and loves sharing her musical experience with children and adults of all ages.  She holds a Bachelor of Music from Georgia State University where she studied with Drs. Tommy Joe Anderson and Geoffrey Haydon.  She also studied piano pedagogy at the graduate level, earned a Certificate of Sacred Music from Virginia Wesleyan College, and has received early childhood teacher training from Musikgarten.  In addition to teaching piano and preschool music, Michelle is the Director of Music at Redeemer Lutheran Church in Bangor, plays organ and directs the handbell choir at St. Joseph's Catholic Church in Ellsworth.  She has worked with youth, cherub, and adult choirs in both sacred and secular settings.  She has accompanied music theater at MSYM at the University of Maine Orono, served as Musical Director for Ellsworth's Grand Theater Summer Camps, accompanies the Ellsworth High School Treble Show Choir, and teaches choral music at Redeemer's Summer Arts Camp. 

Michelle has two sons Hayden and Connor, and a granddaughter Lilah, plus her "furbabies" Meagen the goldenbassador and cats Pandora and Lyra.
